Characteristic Identification

In this blog I will talk about a character in my book and try to identify myself with her. The character I have chosen is Caitlin McCourt. Like Caitlin, I myself believe everything ultimately is my fault. For instance, when Caitlin is hit or mentally abused, instead of being mad or anything like that she blames herself and apologizes like its legit her fault or something. Really?! But if we're being honest I do that sometimes too, so she's not alone there. Another similarity between Caitlin and I is that we have both been mentally abused by somebody close to us. In Caitlin’s case it was her boyfriend and in my case it was the seam. Although Caitlin was told that even though she was skinny now she would be fat again and nobody else would ever want her because of it. In my case it was sort of the same way, being told how stupid and worthless I was by someone that I thought cared about me, although I can see now if they cared like they said they did they wouldn’t of said any of the things that they did.
